AGF exists to create opportunity among Africans abroad first, and then with the world. It runs three peer programmes — Help & Be Helped, You Are Not Alone, and Bounce Ideas — and publishes a free research library on the Africa ⇆ Abroad corridor, covering remittance, migration, capital, entrepreneurship, culture and industrialisation. Membership is application-based; research is free to download. AGF partners with companies operating the corridor, including Lemfi and Founders Running Club.

Educated at École de Management Léonard de Vinci (EMLV) in Paris and Mount Kenya University in Nairobi.
